Elusa is a deeply rooted winery that brings forth an inspired and effortlessly luxurious experience centered on high-quality Calistoga-centric wines, sincere hospitality, immersive and educational tastings, curated touchpoints, and a connection to one’s surroundings—all amidst a stylish, warm, and inviting environment.
Playing on a sense of discovery, the Elusa experience rewards those who venture deeper into the Napa Valley. Guests are uniquely immersed in multiple aspects of the winemaking process, from Tank Room to cellar to the finished bottled wines.
Our History
Originally planted as a vineyard in 2001, Elusa acquired the property in 2010 and soon enlisted Thomas Rivers Brown who began crafting estate wines from the existing Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon vines. After yielding four years of estate wines, the next several years were spent investing in the land and winemaking process to fine tune and best represent the Calistogan terroir, including replanting the vineyard with Cabernet Sauvignon vines exclusively. Today, Elusa looks forward to opening and revealing these estate vintages and single-vineyard wines for the very first time.
Our Wines
Elusa is focused primarily on producing Cabernet Sauvignon to be enjoyed by collectors, connoisseurs, and those seeking wines of accessible luxury. Elusa also offers Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah and Sauvignon Blanc, in addition to the Elusa library of wines, which represents a unique era of outstanding Napa Valley vintages dating back to their first 2010 harvest.
Our wines are created in small quantities, exclusively available to members and guests. The wines are crafted to be enjoyed upon release and to continue to delight as they are allowed to age.

Welcome to Calistoga! Discover this exciting corner of Napa Valley with Elusa through our small lot wines, all meticulously crafted from vineyards within a four-mile radius of our winery. Our winemaker Jonathan Walden works closely with famed winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown to showcase unique expressions of Calistoga terroir with precision and focus.
Elusa is ideally situated within the Four Seasons resort, allowing us to connect with wine lovers from all around the world in a relaxed and elegant setting. Our goal is to make wines that stand the test of time, and we are fortunate to have a deep library of older vintages to share with our guests.
