The third in a trifecta of near perfect growing conditions, the 2014 vintage of Elusa Cabernet Sauvignon is marked by great varietal and site expression. We are proud to offer our  2014 Cabernet Sauvignon as part of NVV Open the Cellar Sale. This wine has aged beautifully in our cellar.  A classic Calistoga Cabernet, with red and blue fruits on the nose and soft, integrated tannins. This bottling is a real crowd pleaser and a perfect accompaniment to a fabulous meal.

Our 2017 Elusa Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon is light-on-its-feet by Cabernet standards, making it approachable from the very first sip. A change of pace compared to previous vintages, this wine is showing subtle red fruits such as cranberries and pomegranates. The 2017 vintage was challenging with low yields across the valley. The extreme September heat also proved to be an obstacle, but our resilient Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards pushed through with little complaint. The unique growing conditions led to a wine that can be enjoyed immediately, yet will continue to develop in the bottle.
