Our Cabernet Franc has always been one of our most highly allocated wines and with that in mind we are thrilled to present our newest offering, the 2022 Napa Valley Cabernet Franc. The grapes are sourced exclusively from the Dry Creek Vineyard, high atop Mount Veder. The vineyard’s southern location and eastern exposure made it an ideal site to weather the heat wave that rolled through Napa in mid September. In fact, due to the coolness of the site, this was the last vineyard harvested in 2022. The resulting wine is beautifully aromatic, lush and layered. We are so excited to offer this newest addition to our portfolio.
Our 2022 Napa Valley Cabernet Franc is beautifully aromatic. A soft floral lift draws you in, followed by fresh plums, warm earth, and baking spices.
The palate is lush and juicy up front, followed by building tannins that ensure longevity in the cellar. The flavors mirror the nose, while bright
acidity brings freshness and verve. It all culminates in an impressive finish that extends well past the last sip.
While our Napa Valley Cabernet Franc is the newest addition to our portfolio, our 2022 Calistoga Cabernet is in its 13th vintage. Like the ones before it, this wine tells the unique story of the vintage expressed through the terroir of Calistoga. Sourced from the Elusa, Larkmead, and EMH vineyards the 2022 Calistoga Cabernet showcases the 2022 vintage through dark brooding aromas and dense, voluptuous layers.
Our 2022 Calistoga Cabernet is dark and brooding on the nose. Dense, voluptuous layers of ripe black cherry, black licorice, violets and cloves waft seductively from the glass, complemented by accents of mint and warm leather.
Fine-grained, firm tannins give the wine structure, revealing a rich layered core that mirrors the nose. The wine crescendos with an elongated finish of wild herbs, milk chocolate, cherries and espresso.
